Description

This is a compilation of some PvP videos I’ve recorded on my gladiator, Agrius. PvP is basically the number one reason I like Aion. It’s generally very well balanced, except perhaps for the healing classes which I still think are a little overpowered. Overall, I’ve had a ton of fun in PvP thus far and will continue recording videos.

I’m level 38 right now, and around level 42+ gladiators start to get a lot better in PvP (though I do just fine as it is). I can’t wait!

Sorry man, I’ve kindof gotten out of the game. I still log in every once in a while but the grind gets a bit too heavy for me? late game. Oh well, it was fun for the first 40 levels haha

Thanks for the reply, and that’s good news. It’s hard to pick Glad or Temp, both are good and hard? to go wrong with. :) I enjoy watching the Glad kick butt in this vid for sure.

Nice vid ! I cant? for the life of me decide which route i wanna go Templar or Gladiator..both seem awesome ! I dont see why all the complaints against glads seems to me at higher lvls wit some smarts they kickass ^^

The good news is Ankle Snare generally takes care of this problem. One good Ankle Snare on any squishy class is usually enough time to do them in. It’s also a good idea to pack a bow so that anybody who decides to high tail it doesn’t just get a free ride. As you can see in this video, I actually kill one player because of this.

Another thing to keep in mind is that from levels 1-39 we only get a single ranged attack, while? from 40-50 we get five additional ranged attacks. Just stick with it!

Aerial combat is more tricking for Gladiators than most classes, but as long as you’re smart you’ll still do just fine. The biggest issue is that most of our attacks plant us in place, and while this is true for most classes, it’s worse for Gladiators because while most classes get planted but their skills will still connect (because they’re ranged), ours often don’t. This basically results in a lot of? button mashing until you eventually hit them with something.

Nice vid! Glad’s are fun. I can’t choose between my Glad, Templar, Ranger or Sorc for my main. They’re all? really fun with the exception of the Ranger which will be more and more fun if I stick with it.

Do you ever have trouble with Aerial combat as a Glad?

No, the music in this video isn’t any of my own this time. The first song is “Warrior” by Calyx. The second song is “Way of the Samurai” by Spor. Ordinarily I would just make the music myself but since I got my new computer, I don’t quite have all my audio software up and running yet. So I had to subsitute something else this? time. If you enjoy these songs, I would highly recommend checking out more of Calyx and Spor, they’re awesome. Black Sun Empire is also excellent, and in the same category.
